One tryout per year is required, held each June. To play competitively, MYSA requires state-issued ID for all players. Players must participate in required annual tryouts to renew their ID.

When are tryouts?
Required annual tryouts are held each June, with the exact date set in place by the Missouri Youth Soccer Association (MYSA) in order to receive or renew the player’s MYSA ID. The MYSA ID qualifies players to participate in the fall, winter, and spring mini-seasons with the option to participate in summer tournaments.

For youth wishing to participate in one or two (but not all) mini-seasons or for “New to Jaguar” players, there are seasonal tryouts held in July (for the fall season), November (for the winter season), and February (for the spring season).
